Surface A · The Front Door

Two ways to be greeted

Both live entirely in the brand palette (black · oxblood · grey · white). Both keep the blinking-cursor motif from the app header. The question is how much the door should say. Click the one that feels more “I'd keep this for years.”

A1 · The Threshold

Near-silent. A held breath. The wordmark, one quiet line, one way in. Maximum restraint — the door barely speaks.

A2 · The Study

Warmer, literary. Greets you in Mallory's late-night-radio voice before you've even signed in. A touch more soul, still disciplined.

Good evening.
It's been quiet here.

Step inside

On the mechanism: the bespoke screen above lives at our origin and fronts the Cloudflare Access flow. The unavoidable Access step (sign-in / one-time PIN) gets matched branding — dark background, Mallory logo — so it reads as one continuous moment rather than a jarring hand-off. Note the status line in A1: a hollow grey ring, not a glowing green dot — colour spent only when it must be.
