The M_ now sits inside the safe circle, and the underscore’s foot lands exactly on the M’s baseline (built in SVG, so it’s exact). Ink-on-charcoal, as chosen.

Dashed line = the maskable safe circle (~80%). The whole M_ sits inside it, so Android’s round/squircle masks and the web maskable icon all keep the mark intact.

Better? Check the cursor sits on the M’s foot and the whole mark fits comfortably. Tweak the size or the gap if you’d like it tighter/looser. Once it’s right I’ll export the SVG + Android adaptive (foreground M_ / charcoal background) + web maskable PNGs, then we march through the remaining rooms.
